Xbox Playing the Version Number Catch Up GameNov-22-05, 9:19 pm by HanfordFile under: consoles I'm cynical. But I believe that the new Xbox 360 has the number "360" in it because if they had named it the Xbox 2 it would have sounded lame when compared to the upcoming Play Station 3. Three is better than two, isn't it? But how does three compare to three-sixty? Tricky Microsoft. So, did Nintendo fail by not giving their upcoming "Nintendo Revolution" console a big flashy number at the end? Not nessicarily. Remember, 360 degrees equals one revolution. Another funny thing is IBM is making the processors for PS3 and Revolution. Leave a commentComments are displayed on posts and visible to all site visitors. |

That my friend, is what you call Neuro Linguistic Programming. This is a massive marketting field, and it is truely amazing just how much they can influence the buyer, simply by changing elements in the name. With the Nintendo Wii games console approaching, i wonder how they will bring out its sequel when the time comes. Will it be the Wii 2... or maybe the Wiii. Only time will tell.
