Sony's amazing customer support

 A quick story about some amazing customer service from Sony:

I ordered a laptop from Sonystyle.com a few weeks ago, and it was supposed to ship this week. Yesterday I got an email from Sony saying it was delayed. I sent them a polite email telling them I needed it by a certain date, and was hoping they chould ship it ASAP.


What happened next was unbelievable. After sending the email I ate a quick breakfast and took a shower. When I got out of the shower I checked my email, and I already had a reply from Sony. they appologized for the delay, explained why it had been delayed (US customs) and then credited me $125.00. All in the span of 30 minutes or so.  

It's one thing to get a support reply from a large company within a 30 minute span. But to also get a 125 dollar credit without asking -- without even complaining really -- is downright luxurious. Props to Sony for taking great care of their customers. It's just one more reason I love Vaio laptops.
